Welcome! I am a PhD Candidate in the Computational Mathematics, Science, and Engineering (CMSE) Department at Michigan State University. I work in the Computational Education Research Lab (CERL) where we focus on understanding how students learn computational science and related tools, so that we can improve our teaching strategies. Outside of research, I have been a teaching assistant for CMSE 201: Introduction to Computational Modeling & Data Analytics and CMSE 381: Fundamentals of Data Science Methods. I am also passionate about outreach and mentoring young individuals interested in STEM.

- Using Natural Language Processing and Social Network Analysis in Python to analyze literature published in the past three decades on change strategies for improving undergraduate STEM instruction.
- Using Social Network Analysis techniques to analyze and model data from Slack consisting of interactions between Physics instructors looking to better incorporate computation into their courses
- Co-President for Graduate Women In Science (GWIS), Mid-Michigan Chapter and Co-chair for GWIS Girl's Math and Science Day Committee
